Headphones not working on Windows 10?

If your headphones do not switch over from the speakers when plugging them into the jack of the computer this tutorial will hopefully resolve your issue.

After you upgraded to Windows 10 or perform a Windows Update, if you can’t sound from your headphone, don’t worry. You can get the sound back with one of the solutions show in this tutorial.

I just switched to pc from mac and was having such a hard time trying to figure out what was wrong and a lot of other videos were just talking about what type connector you need and not showing how to fix the software problem. You created a great video that someone with very little computer skills could follow easily.

With your advice followed up to 2:45 when I was done this "update drivers" this solved the extremely slow (2-3 mins) detection of headphone plugin! Thank you Thank you! FYI - I'm on an ASUS laptop, running windows 10 home.
