This week, we're shining the spotlight on the people who are keeping France running during the unprecedented lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Doctors and nurses are, of course, working around the clock to save lives. But there are many others who are doing essential, but less celebrated jobs: cleaners, cashiers, rubbish collectors and truckers. They are France's invisible but frontline workers; men and women working behind the scenes to keep the country going during these extraordinary times. We went to meet some of them.

Cleaners, cashiers, rubbish collectors and truckers of all Europe: Big Thanks. Same daily effort as our sisters & brothers in France. Greetings from Spain.

I can't believe the rest of the cleaning woman's family gets up at 6:00am too.

And France still ban a niqab, frightened by a piece of cloth

Don't need a hot meal each day at a restaurant . Do what many others have done in the past, pack a few sandwiches or take a thermos of hot soup or stew and a thermos of coffee or tea. Many people work long hours and they don't pass anywhere near a restaurant. But thank you all for your dedicated service during this world crisis.
