True, you shouldn't call themselves what they are not. But the trend today of people adding he/him she/her in front of their names is annoying too. Why add so many filters and create confusions? When someone who is a trans chooses a trans or neutral pronoun then that is great but why does everyone have to start doing if even if they identify as the same sex assigned to them at birth

I'm so sorry this video has reached the parts of the internet of the people refusing to accept people for who they are and who lack basic human decency. This video is amazing honestly. The hook, the redirect, and the cutaway is so masterful.

To spell it out for those that can't see it. The idea of the video is that people who actively use language that disrespects people's identities and who they are is frustrating for the fact that ITS NOT WHO THEY ARE. it's not right to call someone a name or a pronoun because you refuse to either respect them or bother to have human empathy. You don't have to understand someone or share their experience to just call them a name or pronoun that makes them comfortable.

Pronouns are not the fucking problem. The people using it as a method to be hateful or discriminatory is.

Humans have literally used they them pronouns for people before we started to talk about using them as pronouns. Y'all are just acting butthurt for no reason.

They are overly toxic and aggressive people who are narcissistic enough to make everything about themselves, they only want you to respect their ideology but they themselves won't even try to understand others, anyone who is not with them is their enemy in their mind. I get that some people are different but that doesn't mean that I'll tolerate someone's arrogant behaviour. If they want basic respect then fine we are all humans we can respect each other but, their whole existence is based on playing victims. They think the world should treat them special because they have been sad. It goes against the fundamental purpose of "pronouns" and even language itself. Pronouns allow us to refer to a person without needing to know them personally.

The thing is a name is just a word used to refer to someone without any underlying connotations. A pronoun is first of all used in third person and has the connotation of affirming something which is a belief and isn't something backed by facts and arguments just endless empathy.
