Super useful video. How is you opinion on disc wheel now? I don't think, that you use 2 Spokes wheels anymore - why? What is their weight? Do you think they would be good in uphill time trial (7% avg incl and 7km)? Thanks

Hi Ronald, may you tell me which of these two discs are on your bike during the opening sequence of this video? Your are driving so fast I can’t recognize it. But I guess it is the Zipp right? One question. While driving with these discs, will you even recognize the wosshing sound when driving fast or will this be only hearable by overtaken people?

Hi ron! I am going to be getting a disc soon, for time trialing, I have the frame (felt da1) and all and want to finish it off with a disc (I am thinking the zipp disc). I have been wanting to ask if when you train outdoors, do you still train with a disc, or do you use some thing else? I have heard stories of people getting dents or dings in their full carbon discs.

Hi found a zipp super 9 disc for sale on internet and my question is do you recommend buying even if it has a small Crack or dent. Was told by people that it can be repaired with a carbon fiber patch

Ronald, i have a Vittoria Corsa tubular wheel, and it lose an air pressure after 13-15 hours. Somewhere a read, that it is normal for this particular tube. What do you know about it? Should it be fully inflated for a long time or it is a regular thing for this tube?

Thoughts on the Vision Metron disc? Available in clincher models now, looks like same with the Vision 3-spoke. I'm using a Zipp 900 tubular currently and looking to upgrade to something wider. Thanks!

Would you recommend buying a Zipp super 9 with a small little chip/crack(about 1mm) for cheap? Can it be used and repaired? What’s your experience?

Is Corsa Speed the fastest option for a clincher wheel with inner tube? I have seen it is the fastest tyre when run tubeless, but i’m not sure it is still the fastest option when an inner tube is needed, e.g. Zipp clincher.

If you had to choose one which would you choose? I am having trouble choosing. My P5 came with Jet Black 6 wheels so adding the Jet Black Disc would be easy match and don't have to change pads. But Super 9 is considered the best by so many....

Would love if you could get your hands on and review the aerocoach aeox disc/100 front/75 front wheels and compare them against these also. They are stupid heavy but claim to be just as, if not more aero than any of your current TT wheels. Represent great value for money though. Love to hear your thoughts on them? 🙂

I see HED recommends that you don’t use tubeless on their disc wheels because it can dimple the faring. What is your experience, are they just covering themselves? I have a Flo disc that is tubeless ready, and they have the same construction. I don’t have any my faring wrinkling using tubeless.

Hi Ron, I am looking for the loudest freehub of disc wheel of those great brands, like vision, pro, marvic, enve, corima (I just owned zipp and ffwd). cuz I really enjoy that. Do u have any ideas?

No Alternatives to Zipp and HED discs? What about Citec (super light) or Flo (bit heavy, but budget friendly)?
