Salam Alaykom, I am trying to attempt this drawing, for the galaxy part, do you apply the paint with a dry or wet brush?
Also, how much paint do you put on the brush?
When I tried it, I dab just a little bit of paint on the brush but it fades quickly but when I add more paint, I am unable to get the smoky/cloudy look, so what is the balance between the amount of paint?

Curious, how would it look after you color the background you add the stars, dry them then add blues and purples, and more stars on top of that? Would be make it look like the stars are beyond?

How do make that soft blend with bristles? Any specific brushes recommended? Whenever I try it is flat color which I cannot blend into feathers 🙁
