This song is one of the most beautiful and important songs I've ever heard. Freedom is the MOST important thing for all of us. Freedom to to not be oppressed, Freedom to speak our our mind, freedom to love whomever we choose. At this point in human history we are all having those freedoms erased. I don't think this generation will ever again hear a voice as unique and beautiful as Archie Roachs. I fence sit on the whole indigenous debate, and appreciate a wide range of music. I was privileged enough to see Archie in concert a while back and he absolutely blew me away (fancy that.. a metal head at heart.. on his feet giving Archie a standing ovation for one of the best live performances I have ever seen).

Archie isn't a singer, he's a storyteller, and the raw emotion he conveys telling those stories has to be experienced to be believed.

Regardless of your views, a true credit to the music industry and an Australian icon.

If you ever get the chance to see Archie live, drop everything and treat yourself... you won't regret it.
