Oldie but a goodie. Did my first workshop with Richard in ?2013. I have always thought it was weird that I was initially taught to stand on the patients left. Given most Emergency Doctors are 'occasional' scalpel users, it made more sense for right handed dominant people to me stand on the patient right for easier access to the cricoid-thyroid membrane and stabilisation on the right hand n the sternum. Inserting the bougie and ETT is just as easy, it just needs to be practiced! Thanks for the video Richard!
