Had one, when I was a kid. We bought a baby snail and it was about to grow into very big one, just like it's parents, but he unfortunately passed away. We suspected it to be from bad lettuce that we gave him, it looked fresh, but when we tasted it, it was gross. Poor little guy, it shed only one time :(
