Tried to find one of these in the LE base model and it was very difficult to find one at a dealership nearby. Also I found out that the markup prices were over $3500 above the MSRP before taxes. The 2023 Prius is amazing but only theoretically in my price range, so I ended up getting a 2024 Corolla SE Hybrid instead for MSRP and it was about $31, 000 after taxes and fees. I’m really enjoying the Corolla SE. I was able to get a moon roof and a wireless charging dock included as well. Not quite as good overall as the Prius but really close, and it was actually in my price range. Props to those of you who found a 2023 Prius LE for a good price though.

I have been driving Prius's for 12 years and love them. Why have I not seen one of these on the road yet? In southern Califoria.

I like the position of the speedometer.

I will consider a 2024 or 2025 Prius if/when they ever come down to MSRP or lower, where they should be. Not interested in being price-gouged by auto dealerships.

Toyota will not make enough product so you can't find them plus some T dealers add that damn markup. Love the car 👍

I'm guessing the LE AWD incl. destination will retail just over $30k

I love reading all these positive comments. I’ve been obsessed with Prius since 2005, I was 11 years old and learned about them and I just fell in love with its character. I’ve had a 2001, and 2002 Prius generation 1, a 2007, 2010, 2015, and my current garage is my 2016 Gen.4 Prius I bought new and a 2018 Toyota Mirai.

Prius will always hold a special place in my heart and I don’t think I’ll ever not own one. They’re just simply amazing, even the past generations were still great cars with loving owners. Prius owners actually keep their vehicles longer than any other model, averaging something like 15 years.

I received my 2023 XLE in February. So far I haven’t had any issues. I love how it handles and it does have a little more power. The only issue I did not like is paying for the markup 5-6 thousand.

One of the best reviews I've seen so far but I'd like to see more. I own a 2023 Prius AWD XLE as of 2 months ago and have a lot of things I could add to a review of it, 95% of it good. Please consider doing an owner's review that has more than just a trial's view of it.

I noticed at 10:46 the unlock chime seems to be the typical toyota chime instead of that silly new noise all the reviewers talk about. Is this a base trim thing? Wouldnt buy the upper trims if this one had the normal door chime noise.

The limit also adds a power liftgate!!!

Looks like the visibility is hampered by the super long extended vehicle frame in the front. From your video angle, looks like it blocks part of your peripheral driving view. Do you feel the same?

So what’s the deal with the key?… in the video, looked like push button start, etc… but the Toyota web site makes it sound like the LE doesn’t have a proper “keyless” setup

The Prius was never ugly in my opinion, just kind of “lame” looking I suppose
