DJI just released the DJI AIR 3S, its latest camera drone in the AIR series. The AIR 3S is a big upgrade from the AIR 3 and features a dual camera system, upgraded obstacle avoidance capabilities, better tracking, and amazing low light capabilities. The AIR 3S not only takes impressive images and video in low light, but also has improved safety features to help the drone navigate better in low light situations. It also has smarter tracking capabilities along with very reliable obstacle avoidance.
We tested the AIR 3S in all these situations and found it to be the all around most capable camera drone that we have ever flown!

The new DJI Air 3s is very impressive, the best Air series drone yet. You were able to capture to awesome footage of downtown Austin, and low light footage was especially eye popping. Great review Kelly and Kris, thanks for sharing.

Okay, I'm trying to figure out what body parts I'm selling for this new Air 3S Fly More Combo! 🤣This drone definitely is the best of all the latest features of DJI's past lineup excluding the Avatas and the Neo. I need to sell something to get this in my drone hangar. Up to this point my Air 2S and my Mini 4 Pro have been the camera drones I've kept in my hangar and the Avata 2 is my fun goggle-flying drone. Great, positive, detail-oriented review. I like how you hit the little things (gimbal guard, bag) other reviewers don't mention. Seeing as how I never got the Air 3, I base these comparisons on the previous generation Air 2S. While having a versatile dual camera system is nice, the Air 2S was a straight 20mp photo shooter. 12mp/50mp tells me DJI is relying once again on quad bayer technology. Also, while 4k/120fps is good (Air 3S), 5.4k allowed for some great, lossless zooming in post (Air 2S). But, as I fly in low light pretty often (it's near Halloween. I don't DO daylight) the images coming from the Air 3S mop the floor with what comes from the Air 2S. Yes, I'm getting to Air 3S at some point in the near future (now that Texas has hopefully done melting for the season) and I look forward to getting out again.

Ill stick with my Air2s( travel Drone) and my Mavic 3 Pro. Maybe in the future, if DJI decides to give us more with the Air series Ill upgrade the Air2s but I am curious to see what the Mavic 4 will offer because I may upgrade if they offer an APSC sensor or a tapped out CMOS 4/3 sensor 👍🏽

Btw the video bitrate on the Air3s is 130mbps while the Mavic 3 series offers 200 mbps, something to think about if you want superior video quality versus “features” 👍🏽
