The Department for Education is investing £79 million per year into Music Hubs. We’re running a Music Hub Investment Programme to appoint new Music Hub Lead Organisations and help ensure all children and young people in England can discover the power of music.
Appointing new Music Hubs through this Investment Programme will help to achieve the vision of the National Plan for Music Education, where all children and young people can learn to sing, play an instrument and create music together, and have the opportunity to progress their musical interests and talents, including professionally. This ambition reflects Let’s Create – Arts Council England’s 2020-30 strategy – and its goal to shape a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish.
