In defense of Shane, Armond did make a mistake, didnt own up to it, gaslit Shane, and even actively sabotaged his honeymoon when Shane basically gave him a chance to make peace (the boat dinner). Shane's fault was he cannot let go and his problems were petty, but his reactions were justified. He was even polite when he was asking for that room. His treatment of his wife is more of the problematic one, but his dealings with Armond is more reasonable.

I felt so sorry Armand he did so well he was so good with the guests he cared so much period even when he was going down with the ship still so happy he had a great dinner turn out I felt so bad for this guy. When she said to him would you please leave this man alone I actually got a little emotional he cared so much
