Getting started with Umbraco: Create a Blog

In this video, we'll take a look at how to create blogs and blog posts using Umbraco version 9. It's a useful feature if you want to write multiple blog posts a month and want those posts to act like a blog.

I can't understand how you could pass data from the blog list page to the specific blog details page. The featuredSorty property used, can't figure out how it works.

I have a scenario in my project where I want to create categories (cat 1, cat 2 etc) and in the categories there are list of Items. Every Item has got details.

Stuck on how to get items inside the specific category and then dive deep into the details of the specific item.

Hello. Loving the tutorials so far. I seem to be having an issue though.

I did not see a categories property type so I used the Tag property type and assigned the group name of categories. Following the information found here I was only able to get the content to paper on the frontend without error by using the without Modelsbuilder method. Using the Modelsbuilder method (i.e. @if(Model.Tags.Any()){) I this error:

'BlogItem' does not contain a definition for 'Tags' and no accessible extension method 'Tags' accepting a first argument of type 'BlogItem' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Could you explain why this is the case?

I am using Umbraco 11 and I am getting this error...

I get Null at The fetureStory, but I have one item (blog item) link in Featured Story field. (using Umbraco v10)
