Spent the day helping an old friend enter eternity with peace, had to come home and find this song to help me after being poured out for family and friends. Among my people, I am that pioneer. They are so, so, so worth every step! I will happily take the lonely road, and the dark nights, if I can help blaze the trail they need to get Home to the Father. I used to sing her songs in the hallway to my kids before they went to sleep. That was years ago and now I have grandchildren. Her lyrics still ring true for those of us who seek after the heart of God. It is so refreshing to listen to this friend who inspired me before many were recording Christian Music. Love this!

I had one of the "Honeytree" 8 tracks in the mid-70's while a student in college, and a new believer. That voice was so worshipful, gentle and humble then, and praise the Lord, still is today.
