He had a bike rack on the roof rack
That is non OEM and not the responsibility of the car wash
His common sense must have been on hold to take it thru a car wash

This guy might get the medal for the least common sense. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought going with a bike attached was a good idea also.

If someone thinks that driving a car with an aftermarket roof rack through a car wash isn't a risk then they are an idiot. The damage should be his responsibility, not the car wash.

Typical bike rider. Always above the rules/laws

If you go to an automatic car wash you already failed the test of taking care of your car.

posting a sign does nothing to do with releaving you from your responseabilty.. And not operating a unsave business enviroment.. For employees and customers alike...

I mean its a 14 year old car. Stuff breaks. I don't see the issue with the 5 year policy.

That's why I only use NON CONTACT automated car wash... If there are some area that needs to be brushed, then I go to manual car wash, which is much cleaner anyway.

Definitely stay away from Quick Quack. Took a ride through one for the first time and it was slapping the sh!t out of the car. Don't know what they use on their brushes, but good lord.

My car mirror was damaged in a Quick Quack car wash. They said the same thing. That my car was too old! I’ll never use them again. I ended up paying $500 to fix it out of my pocket.

The real harm is the Ford fix $1, 504.70 for a maybe 8k (2%) car. Just for a bracket. Around 18% of value. Insane thats okay too.

Just take the time to hand wash your car.

Exactly why I don’t like automated washes and definitely why you don’t take old cars through them as well.
