How many times have you shown up to a film location, sight and unseen, and the location is kind of boring? Sometimes it’s a boring corporate office, or a plain house that lacks any character. Luckily, there are some lighting tools we can experiment with to give any location some character of its own. Check out the video and see how director Jameson Brooks used Godox #SZ150R & #UL150 #ML60 #TL60 with gobos and mirrors to transform a location to be more vivid and cinematic.

I love to light up spaces with lantern sofboxes. I use now snoot plus grid for hair/counter light in interviews, small LED RGB lights to bounce color off a subjects/details/parts of background. Using light like Godox M1 can do great effect on detailed parts of the shot. I would like to try T30/T60 for effects in my shoots.
