What annoys me most : Fanboys, on both sides.

It's perfectly fine to love something you own and be passionate about it, it's not okay to hate others for not liking what you do.

Battery, god damn battery, that's what pisses me off the most.

The only thing I hate about smart phones is bloatware.

Also mainly battery...
But you're right for all that stuff, and I think we have to spit on oem's much much more for them to acknowledge the problem and fix it.

the only thing that annoys me right now is the fact that I havin't bought myself a Nexus 5 yet, it just arrived in Europe so I will pick it up any day now.

I totally agree on battery life. I would also say the build quality of a phone. I have a really cheap phone for spare, it lasts easily a week and it's never cracked or screen shattered when dropped. The smarter the phone gets the more fragile it becomes.

Lmfao how you said iOS 7 sucks :-) someone had to say it! You rock man! Actually, there is just 2 minor things that annoy me about my nexus 4: the very tinny speaker and the lack of an amoled screen. I had gotten very used to my old galaxy nexus' amoled screen with the super deep black and the awesome saturation levels, and now I miss it.

This annoyance comes from smartphones (small screen mobile devices) but is really a web design issue with ajax/'lack of pagination' issue not saving your place when you leave a page: Scrolling down to the bottom, having to tap 'more' and then when you find something you click on and hit back, you have to repeat the scroll from the very top again and click 'more'...and repeat. I HATE that $%!+!!

Number one: Price. I can get a fucking gaming PC for the price of an iPhone. It's just FUCKING STUPID SHIT.

I love my htc one, but I hate the fact that certain lock screen widgets don't work like dash clock, and for that matter I hate that I can't remove the stock clock on the lock screen.

As a user of a 3 year old single core Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo (my backup phone as my good one smashed), I jut wish it could do simple tasks like listening to music without lagging. And for all smartphones, I wish they didn't break so easily.

Another thing: who complain about nexus 5 defects, should have bought lg g2 and put cyanogenmod in it. That thing kills the nexus.

I have the Nexus 5 and I love it! My only complaint is that the speaker isn't loud enough.

I've currently got a Nexus 4 16GB model, and these are two things about the phone that annoy me:
1. The camera
The camera is good enough for basic tasks,  but when you're wanting more than that, it's just not usable.
2. The battery
The battery life is simply horrendous on any ROM or kernel you install, I have to charge it half way through the day just to get it through until I get home. All I do is stream my music on the way to college and on the way back, browse the internet for a maximum of ten minutes and Google Plus for ten minutes.

Today, somehow, Google+ managed to use up 50% of 80% battery loss at the end of the day, so, it took up 40% battery, what's with that?

Note 3 solution to all problems aside from updates.

The main thing that annoys me is the fact that phones become obsolete ("bricks") in such a short time. For example if a company brings out a flagship phone, it doesn't make sense that another phone of the same company comes out with a better something just a couple of months later. Isn't the flagship the one that is supposed to be the most advanced in every way immaginable? Then why on earth companies do not put that better element in it?
