Introduction to Euthanasia

I am disabled. I am blind in one eye and have problems with the other one. I am Thalidomide and do not have any arms but I do have two hands sticking out either side of my body. I have a bad right hip for which I cannot have an operation because it would kill me. I have a bad left knee which was operated on twice as a child. My right leg is shorter than the left so I have to wear special boots for my feet. I was born with to many toes so some were amputated when I was two years old. I have had life long pain from the amputations ever since. I have a bad heart and my specialist heart doctor says that I am her longest surviving patient with my heart condition. There was no operation available when I was a child but there is possibly now but I am unlikely to survive it as I would be the first person in the world to have it with my condition. That is the "negative" side. The positive side is that I have been to three universities and one polytechnic. I have lectured in college in Philosophy and Religion. I have worked in a department store, taught English to Italians, and looked after homeless people with addiction problems such as alcohol and drugs. I have much to my, surprise got married and have four healthy children. Euthanasia is not euthanasia, ie good death at all. Hitler showed us what Euthanasia really is. Look up the T4 Euthanasia deaths in the third Reich. It is part of the "Eugenics" movement of which was widespread in the USA in the 1930s. The abortion movement started as a "Eugenics" enterprise. Every society is judged by the level of mercy it has just as every person is too.
