Chinmaya Vibhooti is the Vision Centre of Chinmaya Mission and its largest residential Centre in India. Spanning 65 acres in a picturesque valley surrounded by the Sahyadri Hills, it is located in Kolwan Village, Maharashtra, between Mumbai and Pune. Here, the confluence of divine inspiration, human endeavour and the spontaneous generosity of nature induce a temporary suspension of worldly concerns. With its multiple and varied state-of-the art facilities, Chinmaya Vibhooti is the ideal venue for a wide range of residential programmes.

Chinmaya Vibhooti is a grateful tribute to Pujya Swami Chinmayananda by Chinmaya Mission Centres and devotees around the world for His phenomenal service to mankind. The term ‘Vibhooti’ signifies ‘glory’ or ‘greatness’. The purpose of Chinmaya Vibhooti is to inculcate Swami Chinmayananda's vision of world transformation through individual transformation among seekers. And this individual transformation is brought about through the knowledge of Vedanta, spiritual practice and service to society.

The layout of Chinmaya Vibhooti has a special significance. The names of buildings, monuments and gardens have been carefully chosen, for they represent aspects of spiritual life. In fact, every part of Chinmaya Vibhooti is a trigger for higher thought, an inspiration for seekers to reach their highest goal.
