I'd argue that Megumi and Itadori's relationship more closely resembles Gon and Killua's relationships rather than Naruto/Sasuke or Deku/Bakugo

Megumi is a very well-written character. His way of thinking and his philosophy is imo very realistic and reliable. But somehow the ppl overlook his character like see some only clown him and all and even saw ppl from jujutsu kaisen fandom get mad because he has plot relevance?? lmao i mean he is the deuteragonist idk what else they expect. His character has so much depth

Admittedly, I love how the relationship between the main trio is honestly wholesome. Because you can tell they really care about one another. I love how it's a healthy relationship that lets Yuji and Megumi build off each other.

read the title and all i want to say is: THANK YOU. as someone who likes both sasuke and megumi a lot, i really dislike how people say they're similar and i'm always getting ready to explain why that isn't the case.

Yuuji and Megumi's relationship was really refreshing to see, it's friendly rivalry where both can learn from each others strengths and weaknesses. And I love that there's no screaming each others names while going for a massive attack against the other (at least so far 😅).

Thank God someone said it! I was vibing with Fushiguro from that get-go because I caught on to the kind of person he was immediately. Introverted, low-self esteem, and selfless to a fault. a little too relatable and very likeable to me. But Sasuke is nothing like that??? The only similarities they share personality wise is being introverted. People just took what they saw on the surface level and ran with it.

I see Gojo as being a sort of Irresponsible Older Brother to Megumi. Like, he isn´t exactly a reliable authority figure, but he shows up when it counts

JJK is one of the few shonen where the main cast don't have any crazy relationships, they're all just genuine friends who want to help each other out and each pulling their own weight. No dumb love triangles, they don't fight each other, no drama or anything that would affect the chemistry. Each character is relatable in a way.

I like what you said about megumi not wanting to get close to people but then when people get close to him he does whatever it takes to keep them around and safe. Like them wanting to be around him gives him worth as a person since they like him and want to be around him. So in turn he wants them to stay and be safe at all costs since he values their lives more than his own. Really shows you how much his father abandoning him messed up his mindset.
