My mom and I made a terrarium for science class project in my junior year. She passed away that same fall and other than opening it to clear out excess waste, it's still living and thriving, 17 years later. My last piece of her and I together. It's not fully sealed but it's only opened once a year

I once found a naturally formed terrarium on the shore of a reservoir. It was in a half buried glass bottle that had probably washed up shortly after the town was flooded.

Next time try using a hairdryer on the label for about 30 seconds to a minutes. The heat melts the adhesive and it'll usually come off in one piece. 💚

I think it would be nice to see a time-lapse development of your creation. Maybe even split screen reverse timelapse so we see the end product first along with like the empty bottle and that it all comes together at the end. But I really like to see how they turn out

Tip for removing stickers from bottles: Let them soak in soapy water for a couple of days, they should peel off very easily. If they don't, just scrape the softened sticker with a scraper.

You can use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing) to remove labels. It breaks down the adhesive.

Isopropyl alcohol or a 70% or greater alcohol solution will get almost every kind of sticker/sticky off most surfaces, especially glass
