Elon Musk Finally Exposed What NASA LIED about Starliner Trouble!
There is the fact that Boeing Star liner's problem is getting worse than ever but Nasa is trying to cover up and downplay everything.
However, what if SpaceX and Boeing were in the opposite position, meaning SpaceX Dragon was in trouble and Boeing Star liner would have come to the rescue?
Will the US space agency do the same?
Elon Musk recently exposed once again what NASA lied to us about the Star Liner trouble and the favoritism the US space agency shows to its favored contractor.
Find out everything in today's Techmap episode.
But before we begin, let's subscribe to the channel to stay up-to-date with the latest space news.
Elon Musk Finally Exposed What NASA LIED about Starliner Trouble!
Nasa has grabbed the headlines for a while due to its poor management capability under its Commercial crew program, given that they have let an incompetent contractor, Boeing milk the budget drain, and even now, its Star liner spacecraft has been stuck indefinitely in space. Meanwhile, a much more competent supplier, SpaceX got the unfair at the beginning, but, then its Dragon spacecraft reached the monopoly in ferrying Nasa astronauts to the ISS. Nasa has now come up with the idea of ordering a rescue mission aboard Dragon to bring Butch and Sunni, two Nasa astronauts carried by Boeing Star liner in June.
Elon Musk Finally Exposed What NASA LIED about Starliner Trouble!
During the crewed test flight, the Star liner and its crew were originally scheduled to stay on the ISS for only eight days, but technical problems including helium leaks and thruster problems have now extended the stay to more than two months. Worse still, a newly discovered glitch involving the undocking software added fuel to the fire, given that Star liner can not undock autonomously without the crew's coordination. Therefore, if NASA wants to let Star liner return to Earth without a crew, there is a very high chance that the ship will lose control and collide with the ISS. Additionally, if ordering a rescue mission on SpaceX Dragon, the astronauts have to wait until February 2025. Clearly staying so long in space is actually not good for their health. However, it is definitely not safe to let the Star Liner carry people.

If Elon was suporting democrats they would already be sending spacex for the rescue.

NASA doesn't have a problem. It has a diverse workforce and that is all that matters, mission accomplished.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ENGINEERS ARE REPLACED WITH BEAN COUNTERS.

You are speculating about "if the roles were reversed". The main issue is that Boeing has become incompetent and unreliable, both with the Starliner and with their airliner construction.

SO BOEING MILKED THE BUDGET DRAIN ?! THAT'S INCREDIBLE !

Corruption, like in a third world country!

Elon gave Boeing the best and free advice, “…engineering companies should be run by engineers, not accountants.” Accountants focus on profits and engineers on technical solutions. This is evident as Starliner sits at the ISS stranded and unfixable. SpaceX to the rescue!

NASA meaning Never A Straight Answer has never been so true.

This is what happens when you use 737 max components to build a spacecraft.

If it wasn’t for the peoples tax dollars, Boeing would be long out of business. They have been getting propped up for years with our money!

This is exactly why we need commercial options instead of just a single option like we had during the Apollo missions. One or more competitors will likely have different options, but any major issues with one leaves the other companies free to fly.

Space X needs more lobbyists on Capitol Hill lining the pockets of our politicians..favoritism is a commodity.

The numbers just don't add up, maybe it's time for Bill Wilson to move on.

If SpaceX had an issue, Elon would move mountains to get a replacement rocket on the launch pad!

I had to take a Beth Steel bean counter around Sparrows Point Plant,
to see how we could eliminate crane operators. I felt like crap because
we had to talk to the operators who couldn't have been nicer, and all the
while we were planning on sending them to the unemployment line.
The bean counter said something before he left that I'll never forget.
He said, "These dumbbells think that the business of Bethlehem Steel
is to make STEEL. The business of Bethlehem Steel is to MAKE MONEY."
Bean Counters should NEVER be allowed positions of AUTHORITY in
ANY enterprise.

Favoritism for Boeing.
100% agree with Elon.

NASA needs to use the Canadian arm to grab that piece of crap and toss it away from the ISS so it doesn’t crash into the ISS. That frees up the docking port problem solved. Not worth risking 2 more lives.

Musk is exactly correct. When you worry more about money than doing your JOB, the train cannot remain on the rails. "He hears the pistons scraping. Steam breaking on his brow. Charlie, he stole the handle, and the train, it won't stop going. No way to slow down." If you know, we could be friends.

I still think that Christopher Ferguson, who was assigned to the first Starliner test flight and stepped out of the Commercial Crew Program because of a new "mission" (prioritising his family), was already seeing the writings on the wall back in 2020.

I cannot imagine, seeing how earlier flights proceeded, that one would fly Starliner to the ISS. And with what we know now, I would want Dragon to be my ride back home. No way that I would risk boarding Starliner for a safe de-orbit procedure, especially given how much longer time it now has stayed in space than was originally planned.
