A Metal strip along the lip of the shower pan and some magnets at the bottom of the curtain will help keep it in place while you shower.

Jason, so happy for you. Indoor plumbing is such a luxury. A small shelf would be nice to hold soap, shampoo etc.

Being that is the shower I hope you are using spar-varnish. It is specially made for wood boats. That is the only thing we use on woodwork in the bathroom (cabinets, baseboards, even the inside of the door).

winterise the pvc pipe from the water heater to indoor by either covering it with insulation pipe foam or gravel or both. add a holding bar to the shower.. a mini foldable seat and a steel soap dish.
