jezz! i can remember doing that 24 years ago! time does fly. Recruit school is amazing, hard and fun! get in with a great group of people and share the work load! be respectful of each other and take care of each other! the instructors may seem like dicks but they really aren’t, just doing their job! Make sure you pick and MOC you actually want as that makes for a better happier career! Pay is great! when i joined makin 2081 a month pter now it’s a lot more and well deserved! If you play sports or any kind take advantage of it and travel.. CO and RSM love the athletes! Medical plan is phenomenal, pay seems to be going up, but will never be enough for the hard work CF personal do! Work hard play hard and you’ll go places, and as you move up in rank, never change who you are! you get lots more out of the troops with kindness and respect!! ❤

I must say it irks me that the members of the armed forces take an oath to the queen and her said laws but not to the good people of the physical land mass known as canada can anyone explain? As I want to join and I was a sea cadet and as a cadet I'm pretty sure that I took an oath to the queen but also the good people of our proud nation wich to me is of most dire importance
