Truly a beast. I saw my first one in 1964 when a guy in town had one. He had a little repair garage converted from a gas station where he sold Honda motorcycles when they were just starting to come into the country, (Honda 50's). We would ride our bicycles just to visit and drool over the Vincent Big Twin! I was 11 or 12 years old at the time and an Indian Chief could be had for $75.-$250.

Note the Barbour International jacket. First motorcycle purposed jacket. Mid 30s to current day.
Was adopted by the British submarine navy in WW2.

Normal you wait a moment and pull several times the clutch lever as to disengage better first gear - think he was embarrassed

What's the displacement? Must be big enough to take decompression on fire up.

How come pull what looks to be the clutch then drop it each kick?

Should first tick over the carbs then it would start first kick. Maybe he wanted to escape the photographer. A Vincent costed always up to ten times a good Bonnie as to say, you could buy a house
