In this video, I'm showcasing a 3 carat painite from Myanmar.

According to wikipedia, Painite is a very rare borate mineral. It was first found in Myanmar by British mineralogist and gem dealer Arthur C.D. Pain who misidentified it as ruby, until it was discovered as a new gemstone in the 1950s.

Painites are found only in Myanmar. The first painite specimen, a single crystal, was identified as a new gem species in 1957. Until 2001, only two more crystals were found.

Later part of 2000s they discovered a pocket and till then not much has been found. Most of the painite found are heavily included and below 1 carat size.

Until I see a video of this red painite and believe me. I have several Gems of these approximately almost 80 carats and I cannot imagine how beautiful they look in jewelry items and even more so, being one of the rarest gems that is difficult to find

Điểm đặt trưng của đá là màu đỏ sẫm mơ ảo. Nhớ kĩ là khác với những loại đá khác vì ánh sáng ko tác động vào viên đá
