GN Expands ReSound OMNIA Hearing Aid Family to All Styles Including MiniRIE Rechargeable

GN Hearing has announced the expansion of its flagship ReSound OMNIA family of hearing aids, including its smallest rechargeable hearing aid yet: the OMNIA miniRIE (Receiver-in-Ear). The product line extension also includes two new rechargeable Behind-the-Ear (BTE) models along with new OMNIA custom products, including Completely-in-Canal (CIC), In-the-Canal (ITC), and half-shell and full-shell In-the-Ear (ITE) models.

I purchased Omnia 7 rechargeable in Jan 2023 along with new iPhone 14 plus.
Had iPhone XR which did not support hands free calling due to which has to purchase 14 plus.
In the last two to three months, my hearing aids auto restart whenever an audio call or WhatsApp audio or video call is terminated. This has been a big headaches.
HAs were sent to service Center to diagnose the issue but in vain. Issue symbol persists.
Can you please help me fix this issue? What should be done?

So I have question I’m waiting for the custom by resound to be delivered by my audiologist. I wanted to know what the difference in features and technology chip to the omnia custom. Should I exchange it to the new chip considering the new is out in few weeks

Hi Matthew, thanks for the Omnia coverage. Is the ReSound Omnia the best current hearing aid to hear people in restaurants and parties, or simply just much better than the previous ReSound One, but not the best as compared to a certain competitor? Being able to understand people in party-like environments is the only thing I am looking for, so want to find the best hearing aid for this. Also, other than lack of Bluetooth (and phone app), will the actual performance of the newly released CIC Omnia (pre-set to frontal focus party environment settings), be comparable to the larger behind-the-ear models in party environments?

I’ve a slow ringing in my ears and we know that’s called tinnitus but I want to share my other symptoms that are: 1) feeling of earfullness sometimes 2) constant ear popping more during yawning 3) thunder sound when I move my eyes or tightly press them especially when I wake up 4) I can’t tolerate very loud sounds but only very loud also I don’t feel any hearing loss I can hear everything very clear even whispers of someone talking next to my room, please help🙏🏻
