University of Iowa BioMechanics Of Soft Tissues (BioMOST) Lab

The BioMOST Lab is among more than 30 labs grounded in engineering at the University of Iowa Technology Institute. The BioMOST Lab is led by Suresh M.L. Raghavan, a professor of biomedical engineering at the UI College of Engineering. Principles in biomechanics, biomaterials, and medical image processing are used to study diseases of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems and devices used to repair them. Our work includes use of experimental and computational methods.
