I’m from Texas and I frequently get “why don’t you have an accent?” Uhm, because with the exception of “y’all” many Texans have standard American accents...sorry. I also can’t milk a cow, I don’t wear cowboy boots and I own zero cowboy hats. There are people who do but those people aren’t me. I also don’t speak Spanish. I do love sweet tea though so, there’s that.

I work for a very large railroad in America that covers 23 states and tens of thousands of miles of tracks. I have people ask me if I know some random mechanic out in little rock Arkansas, etc etc. I've started answering this with "yeah I know him, shame about his leg."

I love everything about this video! First with the ‘ignorant’ thing and your ‘I’m gonna say it, I’m gonna say it, I’m gonna say it’ the first one was almost a question like ‘am I really gonna do that’ and then the second was like you’d convinced yourself and you were answering your own question and the last one was like you were excited and you were having a laugh at how bad you were about to be ‘I’m gonna say it internet, and you can’t stop me, HA!’

I grew up in NY state out in the country. When I lived down south for eleven years as soon as I'd say I was from New York I'd hear "oh your from New York City?" Some people seem to think all of NY is the city. 🤔😁

Living in Texas the stereotypical questions are usually "of the do you own a gun, ride a horse" type. BTW when in Houston you will be about an hour away from Galveston and the sea. Or at least the Gulf of Mexico.
