anyone ranking Mini over Toyota loses all credibility, sorry not sorry.

This shows peoples satisfaction with vehicles is like how they vote. They don’t care about the quality or how much it will cost you.

How about ranking Consumer Reports as the least reliable source for reliable information

We should rank the sources of information too.The smell of politicians lies everywhere .

BMW as number one is ludicrous - here in Australia they are renown for unreliability, super high maintenance costs and manufacturing defects. They are the😢 hoon/bogan cars of the supposedly prestige car market. They are not in any way a classy or reliable vehicle.

I'm not surprised by Subaru, but Porsche and BMW? Come on!

In my opinion, the biggest problem is that these cars use too much technology and when one problem comes up, mechanics either do not know how to deal with them and/or cause others. This happened to me with a 2016 C-Class - it would visit the garage every month till one mechanic solved all the problems, and it is already one year it is riding smoothly, no problems returning or new ones coming up. You need luck and an honest mechanic!

With BMW and Porsche I think it's quite easy to figure out. The owners of these cars almost invariably lease and need to be seen in the latest model, so they flip their cars every 2 or 3 years They never see the huge maintenance and repair costs that come later, it's all under warranty and free initial servicing.

Hyundai owner here with a 2016 Sonata with 173K miles on it. Not one major problem. Still rides like it's showroom-new.

Porsche and BMW are your top two spots, this is why nobody is spending any money on Consumer Reports... the "car lists" that those two brands are top two are: "most unreliable cars" / "cars with the most trips to the shop".

Buy Mazda, Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus , and avoid Jeep and all the exotic Italian products

There were some surprises in this video. Mercedes being one of the worst and BMW being the number one best car? I agree with you regarding checking and comparing various sources before purchasing.😮

My Forester Touring was 5 years old when I traded it in for my 23 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed.
My 19 Forester had only 15K miles on it because it was literally in the repair shop more often than it was in our garage.
It was the Biggest LEMON 🍋 to ever come out of Japan.
It was my first Subaru and it will be my Last.
My wife’s 19 Outback has been as reliable as our Toyota’s.
If Toyota would adopt Subaru’s symmetrical AWD system, then when her Outback wears out, she’ll go back to Toyota.
But if Toyota doesn’t have Subaru’s AWD system then she’ll replace her Outback with another one.

No surprise with Dodge. While driving these for Enterprise Rentals I found them full of squeaks and rattles even though relatively new. My back after two hours in a Charger was near in need of surgery.

Guess bmw spent some $$ directly to consumer report...

I really appreciate the fact that you show how you have to be cautious about report data omitting certain things.

I'm surprised gmc ranked so low. I have a 2015 Terrain AWD 4 cylinder with over 100, 000 miles and it's honestly been one of the most reliable and fuel efficient vehicles I've ever owned. Aside from regular maintenance, I've only replaced brake pads, tires, one tire sensor and the ac system (thankfully that was under warranty!). It's also been fantastic in the snow.

Hey man, I love your videos. Add some music to keep things moving. Sounds pretty sterile.

In Porsche's defense, despite very high maintenance costs, a vast majority of Porsche buyers absolutely love their vehicles. Also, when it comes to German brands, Porsche is usually average or above when it comes to reliability.
