Summary:
Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto about a poor teenager named Denji who makes a contract with a dog-like devil named Pochita, fusing his body with the devil's and giving him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. Denji's life is turned upside down when he's betrayed by someone he trusts, and he becomes a devil-human hybrid known as Chainsaw Man. He joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency that fights devils that threaten Japan.
The story also includes a second arc that focuses on Asa Mitaka, a high school student who makes a contract with the War Devil, Yoru, who forces her to hunt down Chainsaw Man. The War Devil wants to wage war with Chainsaw Man, but to do so he must assimilate into the high school Asa attends. Asa only sees the War Devil as a hallucination, but he tells her that if FASA doesn't comply with his demands, he will kill her.

Kishibe is Special Division 4's most experienced veteran and now, Denji's and Power's mentor. Kishibe's role as a mentor in Chainsaw Man goes against the typical shonen action formula, focusing on basic combat techniques rather than power scaling.
