Those little creatures that you rescued are going to have quite the surprise when they wake up from hibernation.

Ok, it was driving me crazy so I looked up Dormice. They are NOT related to mice, are found in Africa, Europe, Britain and are so named because they hibernate or are dormant from October until April. Some varities are endangered, so thanks to Dan for saving them.

In Germany this kind of little animals are called 'sleepers'. They are not endangered, but strictly protected. Thanks for taking care of them!

Yea for steels and for little sleepers. But also, everyone in frame (except for the Loirs) seems excited to see the steels. The masons, the driver, the dogs and even Dan (who seemed resigned to hauling debris out) all perked up once the truck arrived. May the vision planted in Dan's brain continue to inspire us all. ;)

Seeing that "lifty thing" in use again and Dans twin helping out reminded me of the old days when Dan started out on his own. So glad he finally saw sense and employed a few helpers.
