I got to work with 1st grp when i was stationed at Lewis. I just hit 19 years in the Army and they were gonna be training us like we were the ANA . I think they were about to deploy soon. They asked me why I was there and getting ready for retirement. I wasnt about to miss working wiyh SF. 3 weeks of some of the best training I had in 20 years.

Being a Marine, my 1st interaction with the Army was some 1st Group guys at Camp Hansen, Okinawa. Super laid back, very cool guys.
