Buko Pie (Young Coconut Pie) | Buko Pie of Laguna |

Buko Pie is basically a coconut custard pie. One of famous Filipino delicacy considered a specialty in the City of Los Banos, Laguna Philippines.
Ingredients:
1 cup grated buko (young coconut)
1 cup buko juice
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla

Crust:
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
6 tbsp cold water
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
*Beaten egg white
