I used to take Jiu Jitsu when I was 11 and again at Fight Capital when I was 18. I just taught my girlfriend how to do an armbar and triangle choke as well as getting into half gaurd if she is ever in that situation.

You do know that we tap beacuse it is impossible to break free of the arm bar right? If we could break out, we wouldn't be tapping.

The pen and rock would only work if the arm bar isn't applied yet, but once that armbar is setup, it takes less than a second to dislocate the shoulder.

If you got taken down and put in an arm bar, you dont have the aptitude or neccesary skill to escape it by way of 'dirty tricks..' If you do, say you did possess the aptitude you would have to accept that your arm will be broken, it will never be the same for the rest of your life, the shock adrenaline and pain will be unlike anything you've ever experienced, but you MUST stick to the fundamentals.

You kind of sound like Arnold Schwarzenegger when you're yelling I think that might have been on purpose:) it's funny cuz I just got this tactical pen in the mail. It's surprising how effective stabbing a bony spots like a kneecap can be with a solid sharp tip tool.
I always like practicing my draw on whatever tool it may be.
