Ripley is one of the best series I’ve seen in a long time, long time. It’s absolutely fantastic and Scott gives an amazing performance.

Scott stole my heart in the highly likable Fleabag as the “hot priest.” . So glad to see his career take off.

Just binged the whole thing (Ripley). It is stunning, every shot looks like a painting. Andrew can convey so much without saying anything. You switch between being terrified of Ripley and rooting for him. He’s been my favourite actor since I saw him in Sherlock. Wish I lived in the UK so I could see him in plays. I’ve only seen his Hamlet because they filmed it and put it online. Hope to be able to watch Vanya too.

Andrew’s presence first resonated with me on the second season of Fleabag. He had a familiar face, but I wasn’t sure of his specific works. Fast forward to now… I just watched All of Us Strangers a few weeks ago, and absolutely loved it (although it’s very depressing). And I cannot wait to start watching Ripley.

He gave a performance for the ages in All of us strangers. Absolutely deserved more plaudits for that film.

What a likesble charming man!
I will now search for him in stag, Ripley, and all of us strangers. He seems amazing, and I adore all the other great Irish actors he mentioned.

About the whole speaking Italian with slightly different tones to it: I honestly do think people notice, but not like "Oh look what he did there!" The audience will FEEL the effort and quality in some way. It gives the acting more depth, even if the audience can't put the finger on why exactly it feels so well done.
