First round backs have the most pressure to perform next to qbs. Fact is, only Barry was able to thrive with zero blocking. No one has ground Chuck or ground and pound offense anymore. This is to emphasize qb pass play. The single wing with competent cast is beautiful and unstoppable.

Not saying jeanty will be on that level but for the " he didn't play elite opponents" guys had decent careers. Point is he was the offense. Everyone knew it. And he still killed it. Give credit where it's due. Some cats just stand out in the crowd and everyone knows at any given time that dude is the best player in the field. Jeanty seemed to fit that bill more often than not. Wherever he ends up I'm guessing they will be happy they took him.

He's a hell of a back but no way I'm spending a top 20 pick on him let alone top 10. You look at all the backs who make big impacts drafted on day 2 or 3. Adrian Peterson Christian McCaffrey and Zeke Elliot only backs coming outta college I'm taking top 20 and AP only one I'd ever draft in top 5
