7 Days SAILING the GREEK Islands! POROS and SPETSES, Heaven in GREECE!

Welcome to THE GREEK ISLANDS! After spending a few days on the island of Naxos, we headed back to Athens to start our 7 Day cruise around the cyclades! Before we get to the Cyclades, we get to check out some Sironic Islands, Poros and Spetses! These were two unexpected islands for us here in Greece and we were really excited to explore, try the local delicacies and drink the local beer before heading back to the Galileo (Our boat) and cruising overnight!

If you said to me Hey fancy an all inclusive cruise on one of the big ships Free I’d say no thanks I’d rather a week in Southend and I mean that I like Southend lol my childhood trips from London . However this cruise you are doing is beautiful and much more personal and not 100s of people . Elegant ship or boat the personal touch and visiting some different places, food looked wonderful aswell. Thanks again for the wonderful content 👍

We saw the Galileo when we were in poros in September- age profile of passengers was quite old which didn’t attract us.

What a lovely day Greece has a lot to offer ❤ I really love your energy guys and your manner of making this appreciated videos, however as a specialist in nutrition, I'd highly recommend you guys to try reduce the amount of alcohol you consume, it's really amazing to try wines from different regions and to fresh up in such a sunny day, but also your health is concerning, the amount of alcohol you consume has a huge impact not only on the brain but also on your organs ( like the liver and heart) by weakening your immunity system if consumed frequently, I'd highly recommend you to have only one huge drink per day served with no more than 16% alcohol, also you can have more healthy choices like juices and cocktails that must be promising .

Sadly Poros and Spetses have become too busy. I first visited in the early eighties, being so close to Athens does not help of course. I did re visit Hydra and Spetses just before covid but early in the season and had a great time though. I had my first trip to Paxos last year for a month and it was more like Spetses of forty years ago. My tip for those that have not been to Greece, if it has an airport get a ferry to a nearby island when you arrive. If cruise ships use it avoid it. Most of all slow down and enjoy, if you ask for a bill and it takes 10 minutes to arrive chill and go with the pace, you will live as long as the Greeks do.😀
