I know this video is a little old but I have been taught (by Salafi ustadhuna) that dua In congregation is not from the Sunnah, so I don't understand and I'd be nice if I got an explanation as that's what's happening in this video and from my knowledge they follow the Salafi manhaj.

You're becoming the cause of tafriq in salafia like yahya alhajoori, Muhammad bin haadi and kuwaitees.
Please don't be like them.
If you differ in matters approach the kibaar with the likes of shaikh alabaad, shaikh Saleh alfawzan, shaikh rabee, shaikh ubaid and their likes.
Arabic language is not a constraint so that you can't speak to them.
May Allah guide you and shower his blessings upon you.
