Needed this today...been standing for my prodigal spouse for seven years after I received a promise from God.
In NJ and just had a 4.8 earthquake....events like that make it so much more real about who you do and don't have in your life.

I've never heard Christian music like this before. I am so so grateful. Sometimes I can listen to Christian music, and it can make me feel more frustrated sometimes. Walking with God and going through the motions is not real trust. Real trust is being aware of your difficult emotions, believing God's word about your situation, and choosing to make a decision on what you will believe. These songs helps you to first become aware of your emotions and seeing God in it. Thank you guys for letting God use you!

So long as I bring my true feelings to him, he can make something out of them and I will get to the other side of the grief of my complex childhood Ptsd.

Beautiful, honest, as natural as breathing outpouring of your journey and the letting go of your sorrow. Well done for compiling this and sharing.
I want to do more like this and share more stories/music like this on my own channel, I went through a horrific time in my life, experienced trauma and loss and heartache, and it's hardest when it involves people we love right?
