I understand your reasoning, but personally being a student with little to invest I am 47% eth 15% bnb and rest are altcoins.
With 1k in btc making x5 it will not change my much in my life and means. So I decide to take the risk to make nothing to x30.
If I had 100k, I would do as you say, puting same amount in alts than now but 90% in btc & ETH

I love your content, and I think you are right in a sense, but I want to challenge the idea that a 1k and 100k portfolio size should be equal coins, or percentages.
If I had a lower amount of money, I am still building, and therefore ETH or BTC wouldn't be a pick for me.
If I had a large amount of money, I would want to store a larger percentage of it in a lower risk coin, like ETH.

If I had only a small amount of money, like 10, 000 dollars or less, I would want to invest most of it in medium to high risk and not much in BTC unless it was a shorter term position.
In fact, I might reorganize my portfolio regularly, and HODL more like a trader with 10k or less. BTC
