We all had these dolls. I'm now an ex Mennonite and my sisters were Amish. My sister made one for my daughter, she passed in 2022 and all our sisters cousins and nieces had these growing up. Faces are an idol image so we did not have faces on them.

She could put the doll eyes with buttons and sew with thread the silhouette of a smile. I don´t like the doll anyway looks like a creepy mask.
