Would you want your parents to be with you on your special day?

When Tina found out that her daughter, Daisy, was getting married, she was over the moon. But Daisy didn’t want her mom to attend the celebration. She was marrying a rich man, and her mother didn’t fit his family’s “style”. Still, Tina wanted to see her little girl on this occasion. She snuck to the ceremony to at least watch her from a distance. When Daisy was giving a speech, she said that she wanted to thank her mother for raising her all alone. Tina’s eyes lit up. But, in just a moment, her heart would be shattered yet again.

Have you ever gone no contact with your family?

She shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions like that. Plus, if her fiancé didn’t respect her mom, he’s not worthy

it is a relief that the husband forgave his wife and is not a jerk. the young woman is very lucky to have a man like him as much as she is lucky to make things right with her adopted mother.

Daisy should be very ashame of herself for how she had treated her own mother like a stranger and then paid someone to pretend to be her mother at the wedding all because she doesn't want her new husband to find out that her mother is black. Seriously you should never been a shame of who your family are or the colour of their skin that's not important but what's really important that they love you with all their heart💖 like Tina do for Daisy. If Daisy had just told her new husband the truth from the beginning about her mother before they got married then things would have turn out differently instead of worrying that he might judge her mother which he didn't at all.

I am glad that Daisy and her mother reunited. I am glad that Daisy's husband accepted his mother-in-law.

I met a white woman from my country, she met her partner in the 90s who's black, they fell in love and she hid her relationship with him from her family for years, because she thought her family wouldn't approve of her having a black husband and mixed children, despite all, her partner didn't leave her. Years later she decides to share with her family, because they were asking her why she's single and doesn't want kids. She was shocked to discover that she lived a lie because her family was more than happy for her to have a black husband as long as they're happy together. She has one child in her late 40s with IVF procedure, because she waited for so long. Don't live your life like this and don't assume anything.

Each time daisy treated her mom like dirt she was sad, so why did she even treat her so badly in the first place? She was a horrible daughter, throwing her mom down the porch steps and denying her on her wedding day. I knew her husband would have been ok with her mom and the fact that she assumed her wealthy in-laws would hate her loving mother just because she's black makes me sick. (I wouldn't even marry into such a family in the first place if they had issues with skin color.) Took her mother almost dying for her to realize her mistake, what an awful daughter. 🙄

I love my mom, even though she can be annoying sometimes. I feel like she limits my freedom, but no matter what, she'll always be my queen.

Wow, at first Daisy really was heartless all because her grandma was black. It’s no reason to try and kick them out of your life. Here we go. I wish I could’ve been white. I’m not racist however I’m glad that she finally learned to accept her mother for who she really is. There’s lots of single mothers out here that are doing everything they can to make sure their kids have a bright future so you really should be grateful they did what they could for you.

Family ties are important and valuable. No one is worth upsetting your family, especially your mother who raised you with all kinds of difficulties. Eventually Daisy was able to accept her mother for who she was. What if she had been late?

You don’t always get that second opportunity, so love harder.

That’s a terrible daughter, if my daughter treated me like that and did that to me .. means I failed as a parent and would not be in her life because of her actions

Some people only care when you're dying or dead, and I hate that so much, especially when you're family/relatives.

She should’ve shamed herself. The lesson is never hiding someone with brown skins of part of family, both mothers or fathers tell the truth i’m glad he forgave her she’ll make a great grandmother I believe people with brown skin is special to the family
