Julian Trevelyan is not the standard type of just a virtuoso pianist - he does not have only a concert mission, but beyond that, and that is the huge difference!

I’m afraid he never owned me. His Schumann was impressive but it seemed endless. Perhaps his program was not designed to ingratiate.

Lots of mistakes in the first 6 min of the Schumann. Am not impressed.
