I actually made a “research” on this for school because of this video, the teacher gave me some extra points and nominated me for a research competition, I didn’t make it too far tho lol. As far as I remember I didn’t found a correlation between surface tension difference and the number of particles that went upwards. However I didn’t make a good experiment I think

this is a really big coincidence haha! It happened to me this morning and I was a little confused. I was pouring a bit of water into the spoon with my sister's medication and the particles just floated backwards into the water bottle, what a conveniently timed explanation for my experience lol
