Aegean Motorway

Aegean Motorway, in which AKTOR CONCESSIONS holds a 22.2% share, constitutes a critical part of the road axis that connects Athens to Thessaloniki, extending from Raches (Fthiotida Prefecture) to Kleidi (Imathia Prefecture). The project involves the construction of a new 25 km motorway section, from Evangelismos (Larissa Prefecture) to Skotina (Pieria Prefecture), including among others, 3 twin tunnels – of which one is the largest road tunnel in the Balkans – 22 bridges, as well as the reconstruction and upgrading of the existing motorway, extending from Raches to Kleidi, with a total length of 230 km.
