The soundtrack of brutality: Tar Pond's debut single 'Please', from the upcoming debut album "Protocol Of Constant Sadness" (Out March 20th, 2020).

Tar Pond were formed in 2015 by Celtic Frost bassist Martin Ain (R.I.P), former Coroner drummer Marky Edelmann, renowned scratchboard artist Thomas Ott and Swiss art world heavyweight A.C. Kupper.

'Please' was brought to life in true old-fashioned analogue spirit at New Sound Studio with producer Tommy Vetterli. The video was shot on 8mm film by Thomas Ott and Marky Edelmann during a road trip in New Mexico, and completed with the magic editing touch of Gion-Reto Killias. The cover artwork for the single was created by Thomas Ott.

Tar Pond's debut album “Protocol Of Constant Sadness” will finally see the light of day on 20.03.2020. The release will be celebrated in style with an exclusive performance taking place in Zurich’s porn cinema Kino Roland. Tickets will be available on the door.

Just started listening to this last night. Pretty killer stuff. Has a little early Sabbath feel to it and at times the singer reminds me of Jim Morrison a bit in some of the songs.
