Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.

You didn't mention the boycotts to Target and Walmart due to dropping DEI many have chosen not to shop at these places. I believe that is another variable. Amazon and Nestle are also boycott targets x a week. Amazon began March 7th and Nestle began March 21st.

Corporations' pre-emptive hiking of prices in the last 10 years should have been a clear sign how quickly they would raise prices in anticipation of/reaction to tariffs. No one should have been surprised.

Sounds like some greedy, corporate price-gouging to me. These companies have vast warehouses full of product that wasn't subject to any tariffs. Why are they raising the prices before they've received any tariffed merchandise?

Sounds like we will buying only necessities instead of being spendaholics. Maybe that will be a good thing for the financial and mental health of America. I just pulled my numbers on my retirement investments and I'm down 5.3% since the beginning of 2025. I'll continue to let my investments ride. Stay calm and ride the course.

Production of one iPhone costs 10$ in China. Transportation to US and other related services additional 30$.
The rest of the iphone price are retailer & Apple profits.
The same is true for all products made in Asia.
It was a reason why the manufacturing was moved abroad.
