Good job! Very similar swap to my GS400. I also have a lightened FW. BTW, if you have any clutch chatter issues, check all your mounts. I found my driver’s side torn in half. Went with stiffer mounts and chatter is virtually gone.

I have an SC400 which I have loved for 4 years now. I've been contemplating if I should do this swap.

You are down on power. The uz vvti ecu’s disable the vvti, cut throttle plate angle and cut timing when there is a transmission fault. You will need the transmission emulator wired in to trick the ecu. Costs about $100 and it’s well worth it since you are down 50 horsepower without it. Used one in my 3uz Supra and it brought full power back and cleared out the check engine light too.

XAT racing quoted me $3061.00 total for the trans adapter, flywheel, clutch kit, install tool, shifter, driveshaft, release bearing, hoses and hardware- plus shipping there anything they left out in your experience? Giving consideration to going this way.

I like those cars but read only 3rd gen is one with much less issues like hydraulic fan for one before made electronic and also they were 50 more hp. 300 instead of 250 in 97 or 98
