Amazing Stories was a wonderful TV show. I was in my twenties, and watched every ep. It should have been on tv at least 5 seasons.The stories were interesting, I have always liked anthology shows.

i just spent 5 hours trying to remember the name of this show. I finally remembered that one of the episode was called "thanksgiving" and here i am. Jesus it was a quest to get here.

Hearing this theme in my head as I sit my three daughters down to tell them the true story of EVERY single male member of our family and the wars we’ve fought in from Pearl Harbor where my Grandfather lost his leg; to the other Grandfather who was an Army Air Corps Fighter pilot then, into the Air Force in Korea. Their Grandpa’s and Great Uncles that fought in Vietnam to their Dad and 2nd Cousins that fought after Desert Storm and during the Sand Wars in the Middle East. The stories are outlandish. But I promise them they’re ALL true and they absolutely AMAZING.... Proud family here.... Semper Fidelis... ;-) Now it’s their turn to continue the legend...

My first CD was "Jurassic Park". I was 11. To this day, John Williams' music never ceases to amaze me.

I too loved this show very much. I was only in elementry school when the series aired on TV back in the 80's. I knew then how unique the show is - every week was a different and creative episode (that is also what made it so great!). Thanks to Netflix and the trilogy for the first year of episodes was realeased a few years ago on DVD as a 4-disc set. I cannot understand why the remaining seasons were not released like the 1st year??

The same guy and same orchestra that composed/performed the themes for Star Wars, Superman, Jaws, and Raiders of the Lost Ark did this. No WONDER it is incredible and I've always loved it, even as a kid in the 1980s! :)
